Minutes of the Vestry Meeting of Little Malvern Priory 18^th May 2011

Present: Canon Eric Knowles (Chairman), Peter Williams (Treasurer), Ramon Wyre, Barbara Wyre, Jon Lewis-Bowen, Alistair Booth, Wendy Booth, Bob Steel, John Chatten, Irene Thretheway, Roger Johnson, Sue Johnson, Ann Henderson, Ann Whitty, Valerie Knowles, David Toye, Phyllida Lewis-Bowen (Secretary elect)

Apologies: Jocelyn Bailey, Alexandra Berington, John and Sally Ziesler, Sir Nigel Nicholls, Derek and Julia Webb, Olive Patten, Tricia Steel, Joan Holland, Christine Toye

1.       The meeting opened with a reading and a short prayer

2.      Minutes of the Vestry Meeting on 27^th April 2010 were approved

3.      The date of next meeting was changed due to the late Easter

4.      John Chatten and Robert Steel were re-elected as Churchwardens, (Prop.John Lewis-Bowen, Sec. Wendy Booth).  The Chairman said that both had earned the respect and thanks of the congregation by their hard work and dedication, and also thanked their wives for their support.  Clive Fox was proposed as Deputy Church Warden (a new position), (Prop. Roger Johnson, Sec. John Chatten).  This was agreed unanimously.
