Minutes of the Easter Vestry Meeting of Little Malvern Priory  27th April 2009

Present: Canon Eric Knowles (Chair), Derek Webb (Secretary), Alexandra Berington, Wendy Booth, George Bryden, Anne Burge, John Chatten, Ann Henderson, Joan Holland, Sue Johnson, Roger Johnson, Valerie Knowles, Nigel Nicholls, Olive Patten, Jenny Pierce, Bernard Pierce, Mike Pollard, David Toye, Christina Toye, Irene Tretheway, Bob Steel, Ruth Young, Jeremy Webb, Clover Webb, Ramon Wyre, Barbara Wyre, John Ziesler

Item 1   The meeting opened with a reading and short prayer.  Apologies had been received from Joy Jewel, Tricia Steel, Jocelyn Bailey, Alistair Booth, David Hope, Margaret Hope, Judy Bristow, Pamela Bevan and Karina Smalley

Item 2  The minutes of the Easter Vestry Meeting of 23rd April 2008, they were acccepted as a true record.

Item 3   There were no matters arising

Item 4   As Jocelyn Bailey’s term as church warden was to come to a close in 2009, it was proposed by Robert Steel and Derek Webb that John Chatten be elected as church warden. This proposal was accepted and approved unanimously.  Canon Knowles thanked Robert Steel and Jocelyn Bailey for their work.

Item 5   Tuesday, 27th April 2009 was suggested as the date of the next Easter Vestry Meeting, which would be held at 7.00 p.m. in the church.
